Lienzora MVP

Privacy policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026.

This policy explains how information is handled in the current version of Lienzora. It applies to the website, its pages, search, and tools. Lienzora does not offer accounts, purchases, or user profiles.

1. Information stored on your device

Lienzora uses browser local storage (localStorage) to remember your favorite artworks, visual theme, and language choice. This data remains on your device and is not sent to a Lienzora account. You can remove favorites from the favorites page, export them as JSON, or clear all site data in your browser settings.

2. Images used in the tools

When you select an image in the palette extractor or another local tool, the file is processed in your browser. Lienzora does not upload or retain it on its servers. You are responsible for selecting only files you are authorized to use and for avoiding images containing sensitive information.

3. Technical data and logs

When you visit the site, the infrastructure required to deliver and protect it may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser type, device information, response status, and security or diagnostic data. Lienzora is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Workers operational logs to identify errors, maintain security, and improve availability. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy .

4. The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Artwork searches and records use data from The Met Collection API. Lienzora's server queries that API, and your browser may request images from The Met's domains. The Met may receive and handle technical information under its own policy. Read The Met's privacy policy and its Open Access page.

5. Analytics, advertising, and newsletter

The current version of Lienzora does not include audience analytics, advertising networks, or personalized-ad tracking. The newsletter form is a demonstration: it does not send or store the address entered. If these features change, this policy will be updated before the related processing begins.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Lienzora does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. It does use the local storage described above. Cloudflare or other necessary services may use strictly technical mechanisms for security, operation, or abuse prevention, subject to their own policies.

7. Retention and security

Locally stored data remains until you remove it or clear browser data. Technical logs are retained only for the configured period or as needed for operation, security, and diagnostics, according to provider capabilities. Reasonable security measures are applied, but no Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute protection.

8. Your choices and rights

You can block local storage through browser settings, although some preferences will no longer be remembered. You may also delete or export favorites. If applicable law grants you rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict the use of personal data, you may submit a request through the contact page. For data handled directly by Cloudflare or The Met, you may also contact the relevant provider.

9. Children

Lienzora is a general cultural resource and is not designed to solicit personal data from children. Do not enter personal information in demonstration forms. If you believe a child provided personal data, notify us through the contact page.

10. Changes and contact

This policy may change if accounts, analytics, advertising, live forms, or other providers are added. The date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions, use the contact page. Lienzora must still publish a valid contact email there before public launch.

This policy should be read with the terms of use and sources and rights information.
